Before you leave
A trip changes who notices a closed gate, a new equipment noise or a question in a pool-service update. Before you leave your Phoenix or Scottsdale home, make a short handoff for the people caring for the property and pool. It helps everyone work from the same current information without guessing about your equipment or access.
Confirm the next visit and the way in
Start with your agreed service schedule. If the gate, lock or route to the equipment pad will be different while you are away, tell your pool-care provider before the next visit. Confirm how to share access details through the channel you normally use with them; keep gate codes and keys out of public messages and photos.
A house sitter or neighbor may also need to know when a service visit is expected. That avoids confusion if they see someone entering the yard. Confirm the access instructions with your provider before you leave.
Name a contact who can answer a question
Share the best way to reach you during the trip and, if you choose, a local contact who knows the property. Make clear who can answer an access question or discuss a proposed repair. Review your agreed scope and confirm how the team should contact you if additional work is recommended while you are away.
If you already know about an equipment issue, unusual water loss or a recent change in the pool, mention it before leaving. A dated note and a clear photo of the equipment or condition can help start the conversation. You do not need to diagnose a fault or open a panel to make the note useful.
Know where your updates will appear
Haoly Pools' weekly-care page describes an email after each visit with services provided, water readings and chemical dosages when applied; weekly photos are added to your account. Check that you can access the account and service email while away. Our guide to reading a weekly service report explains how to turn those details into a specific question.
A service report records that visit. If something in a photo or reading concerns you, contact the team with the visit date and the item you noticed. Avoid changing settings remotely based on a single image or an older report without a system-specific discussion.
Before you go, write down four things: the next expected visit, how the team will access the pool and equipment, the contact for questions, and any current concern worth watching. Already a customer? Call (480) 253-9454 or email kate@haolys.com to confirm those details. Looking for care while you are away? Explore our second-home pool-care page.
