Two words, different work

Remediation restores a pool, its equipment or its water to clean working condition through deep cleaning and debris or algae removal. A repair fixes or replaces a failed component, such as a pump or valve.

Your pool may need one or both. Green water or a buildup of debris can call for cleaning, while an equipment problem may also need attention. Understanding both helps identify the work your pool needs.

Tell us what you’re noticing

You don’t need to diagnose the problem before contacting us. Tell us what changed, when you first noticed it and whether the equipment seems to be running differently. Photos, unusual sounds and any messages on the equipment display can help explain the concern.

For example, “the pump is making a new noise” or “the water turned green this week” gives us a useful place to start. From there, we can discuss the next step for your pool.

Know what your quote covers

Before you approve the work, review the quote so you understand what is included and what it will cost. If your pool needs both cleaning and an equipment repair, ask how each is covered.

If anything is unclear, ask us to walk you through the recommendation. You should understand what problem the proposed work addresses and whether any additional work is being recommended separately.
