A useful first conversation
When a Phoenix or Scottsdale home has a pool, a request for an inspection works best with a few concrete details. You do not need to diagnose the pool. The goal is to explain the property, your deadline and the questions you want answered so the inspection scope can be discussed before you book.
Start with the property and your timeline
Share the property address and whether there is a pool, spa or other water feature. Tell the team your inspection deadline and any purchase milestones that affect access. If you are buying from outside Arizona, say how to reach you while the visit is being arranged.
It also helps to know who can grant access and whether the pool equipment is behind a separate gate or enclosure. Share codes or keys through the agreed private channel, not in a public message or photo.
Bring the questions you already have
Perhaps your home inspector noted something at the equipment pad, or you noticed a mark on the finish. You can share a dated photo, an existing report or a plain description. Tell the pool inspector which concern matters to your decision. A photo can help locate a question; it does not replace an on-site evaluation or a measurement.
You might ask about visible pool surfaces and surroundings, equipment and circulation, water condition or the maintenance history you have received. You can also ask which questions belong in a separate repair estimate. The inspection scope should be confirmed for your specific property; do not assume every test or evaluation is included.
Agree on the scope and the report
Before booking, ask what areas will be reviewed, whether a particular test you need is included, what access is required, and how findings will be shared. Haoly Pools' pool-inspection page shows an illustrative report excerpt and explains the information to bring. It is a sample layout, not a completed inspection or a promise about an unseen property.
Our team includes a PHTA Certified Pool Inspector. The credential describes individual training; the agreed inspection scope determines the work at your property. For a useful first conversation, send the address, deadline, access contact and your top questions through our inspection request path. We can then discuss what the pool needs before you commit to a visit.
